Maria Dek is a Polish illustrator who lives and works in Białowieża, in the middle of the oldest forest in Europe. Her love for nature is evident in her work through original, fun and expressive illustrations. She often uses the watercolor technique and likes to play with the absurd and spark the reader's imagination.
